Gaza Beach in the news

It was difficult for participants to get to our location on the beach in Scheveningen because of all the barriers in and around The Hague. They were also deterred by the large number of helicopters, police and perhaps also the bad weather, which fortunately improved a few hours before our event. A strong south-westerly wind made the Palestinian flags fly proudly, and a beautiful sunset magically lit up the stage and the participants (mostly from The Hague) who had not been deterred.

The press did find its way to Gaza Beach, perhaps a welcome distraction from the depressing meetings between men in suits demanding more toys for their wars. Al Jazeera's well-known reporter Step Vaessen made this report:
A nice Cologne journalist from Reuters filmed almost the entire event, for those who would like to check it out
Gaza Beach also received a lot of attention in the Dutch press: a report shortly after the event on the NOS was preceded by Zeelandnet.nl . The Noordhollands Dagblad , Marokko.nl and Omroep West , the Volkskrant, Trouw, the Haarlems Dagblad and the Gooi- en Eemlander, the IJmuider Courant etc. also published a piece about Gaza Beach.
In this Instagram video, a participant who returned mentally exhausted from the Global March to Gaza speaks about the importance of a peaceful gathering on Gaza:
