Theatre for Justice: Laura van Dolron

During GazaBeach, theatre maker and writer Laura van Dolron will open and close the evening. With her penetrating and reflective style, Laura focuses attention on the humanitarian disaster and genocide in Gaza.

Laura is an outspoken advocate of justice and peace. For example, she participated in the long-term sleep strike against Dutch policy around Gaza and brought the story of the young American activist who fought for Palestinian rights to the stage with her performance "My Name is Rachel Corrie". Her performances underline her deep-rooted involvement in the situation in Gaza and her commitment to human rights.

Her theatrical and poetic approach makes the urgency and injustice of the situation in Gaza tangible, and creates space for reflection and involvement. Laura's words will take the audience into the depths of this crisis and strengthen the urgent call for justice and peace.
